2006-10-01 00:50:47 | Alexandre Vassalotti | description | I recently upgraded my laptop running Edgy Knot 3 to the Beta release. When, I restarted, my system just hangs there. I can't even get a console with Alt-Ctrl-F1. So, I decided to do a fresh install. Same problem again. Although, I can start GNOME manually if I boot in single-user mode: $ sudo /etc/init.d/dbus start $ gdm | I recently upgraded my laptop running Edgy Knot 3 to the Beta release.
