Comment 22 for bug 307645

The laptop has not had a 'freeze' since applying the above change :-) However the change has introduced one side effect which is that the system does not close down completely. After taking Menu >> Quit >> Shutdown option it exits to a black screen with the message "System Halted" - after which I need to force shut down using power button. This is only a slight nuisance but if anyone has a fix I'd appreciate hearing about it.
