I wrote a comment 6 hours ago, after I ran hdparm -B 254 /dev/sda. Now, 6 hours later, the load_cycle_count still hasn't increased ! I was expecting it to increase in a slower way, not to stay the same for hours...

Is it normal ? Is it the sign that something is broken ?
