Before issuing these 2 commands, I was getting roughly 1-2 load cycles per minute when the laptop sat idle:
killall -9 evolution-data-server-1.12
killall -9 evolution-exchange-storage
Now, when I'm issuing sudo smartctl -A /dev/sda after a long period of idling, I only get an increase of 1 load cycle and that's probably because I'm waking up the hdd with the command.
