Bug Description

Binary package hint: acpi-support

MySQL was added to the list of services to stop when the machine is suspended; this dates back to a bug reported in late 2004 to mysql (http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=4596) and debian (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=259745).

I assume this issue has since been resolved upstream, since on my dapper machine I can happily suspend and resume without stopping mysql first. I can confirm that it is still running and responding after resume.
