Given this statement, and the various others that suggest this may
alternatively be a kernel ABI issue, I have no reason to believe
theres actually anything wrong in the libacl package itself, nor
is there likely to any workaround that could be put into libacl.

As such, this bug is languishing assigned to libacl -- does anyone
have any suggestions as to where/how further progress could be made
on this bug? Is there a generic arm-port pseudo-package I could
reassign to? Should I just close it stating a different compiler
has resolved this (what compiler version was used above, Jonathan?)?

Any advice/suggestions, anyone?

thanks!
