@Christian, dbus got reloaded a bunch of time during the upgrade according to the log, that's expected, what isn't is that it stopped responding.
I haven't seen other reports from that so far so it's probably an uncommon bug/issue hit there, I'm unsure how to debug it, especially after facts...
