Hm, I was just comparing the version number listed in the original report (3.0.0~svn20130523) with the latest available one in Saucy (3.0.0~svn20130523-1ubuntu2). Looking close, the version number might have been cut off by apport (for some reason?), could you please verify this is indeed the version you have installed, for instance with: apt-cache policy abiword ?
