After trying to connect to the network I check dmesg again.
At the end of the report this is what is says:
rtl8180: Setting SW wep key
[108895.912000] rtl8180: Bringing up iface
[108896.120000] rtl8180: Card successfully reset
[108897.012000] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): wlan0: link is not ready

It repeats "rtl8180: Setting SW wep key" almost 100 times. before it goes to the next step.
