Comment 2 for bug 82794

I am asking this since Breezy but without success. The only thing needed is xdialog and a PPPOE-Conf-Link under Internet menu so everyone can find it and needs no console to set it up like in Knoppix. Please fix this at least in Feisty+1.
The pppoe-conf configuration isn't hard. In Germany the only thing you have to change is the username and password. Everything else could be confirmed but a GUI (xdialog convert text messages to gui boxes) would make it more comfortable and easier to find in menu.
Best thing of course would be a NetworkManager plugin but a graphical pppoe-conf would do it anyway.
