Bug Description
While up and running, I use alsamixer to set my volume levels as follows:
Master: unmuted, 68
Master Mono: unmuted, 68
PCM: unmuted, 68
Upon each and every reboot, these are reset to:
Master: muted, 0
Master Mono: unmuted, less than 68 but greater than 0 (didn't look)
PCM: muted, 0
In order to have sound, I have to both unmute AND raise the level up from 0 on both the Master and PCM channels, and usually also raise the Mono channel back up. This has been happening consistently for a few days now (as of 26 January 2007), but did not do so prior to recently.
This may or may not be related to Bug #80893.
