Also I had the same problem. But in my case I had something in /ets/hosts:
127.0.0.1 localhost
And also an undesired
127.0.1.1 mylaptopname.mycompany
(where of course mylaptopname and mycompany are my laptop name and my company... :-) )
The second may ahave come from the fact I gave my company's domain as default domain.
I cured the problem by removing the second line and changing the first line to
127.0.0.1 localhost mylaptopname
