8.04 Hardy nstallation from CD proceeds to "Selecting and installing software" stage, then fails.
Installation from Mini-iso fails, since no archive carries the hardy distribution.
9.04 boots, but never gets off the ground, since 9.04 can't find the CDROM drive from which it booted. If a USB CDROM drive is used, it then can't find the IDE disks, even if the driver is specified.
I know this may be low priority for you, but it is impossible, for one reason or another, to install anything but 6.06 on a Sun Blade 100, or a Sun Ultra 10. Any attempt to upgrade from this, leads to either failure, or an unusable system.
