Just got this bug, again, during a session. I was browsing using Firefox at the time. Also running were Filezilla, gedit, Virtuabox OSE. The keyboard becomes unresponsive, the computer requires a cold reboot.
This bug has happens to me on a regular basis, with only the process id differing each time.
Running Release 10.04 (lucid) (64-bit version)
Kernel Linux 2.6.32-20-generic
GNOME 2.30.0
Intel i5 + Integrated graphics + H55 chipset
