I definetely consider this an issue to take a look & review it in detail. After I moved to Ubunto 9.10 everything was going well after the refresh of my home office server (I was trying to improve my work efficency with Ubuntu) & my Toshiba 2405 -S201 crashed exactly as the thread originator mentioned. BIOS (Block 1) damaged. I can`t find a work around & I'm really frustrated with Ubuntu 'coz I was trying to improve but actually my Laptop crashed. Unnaceptable!
