Bug Description

asus-laptop kernel Module PROBLEM!
I have an asus m51sn laptop with dual system VISTA/UBUNTU boot..
When i power off Vista, i reboot in Ubuntu, after 4/5 sec, LCD
brightness go down (very dim).
I can go up with LCD brightness using Fn-F6 keys, but every time i
reboot, it reset...
 is it the problem the light sensor maybe?
This problem is present in Ubuntu 8.10 Kernel: Linux 2.6.27-14-generic(i686) and in ubuntu 9.04
