Bug Description
Display Preferences: Won't detect when clicked. Monitor Unknown in pink box. Stuck on 0 Hz, normal. Slow motion video-scans seen when moving items. Firefox opens with left 2/3 'wipe' down then remaining 1/3 wipes down.
Using: AMD64. Jaunty 9.04. (OK with prior versions.) Monitor is ViewSonic VA2026W.

i seem to be having a similar issue, namely that my display shows as unknown in the display preferences. is there a fix for this or will it be fixed in the karmic release?
