I've got the same thing on a Amilo Si1520 with a synaptics Touchpad.
The entry in /proc/bus/input/devices is there before the suspend, after resume. its gone, then I plug in a optical mouse, and there the optical mouse entry comes in. Plugging it in/out removes/brings back the entry, so it would be a fix to remove the touchpad ;) SCNR
