Hi all, I've got this same problem also - although, from reading through all of these posts, have the (temporary) work around for it. It's fairly simply and can get you back up and running with in a few seconds. When ever it occurs (I've noticed that heavy graphics use will trigger it easily, although I've triggered it with just Firefox and terminals open), simply hit ALT-F7 (or ALT-SPACE and with cursor keys scroll down to move) - this is for moving the active window. If it doesn't move via the mouse cursor (it should) use the cursor keys - move the window from one desktop to the other and back - and whala! mouse back and functional! (after you stop moving the window of course) :-) Many thanks for Mr Kevin Browne who figured out the way around this annoying bug ;-)
