Comment 108 for bug 296167

This bug is affecting me also. Ubuntu 8.10. amd64. latest nvidia (177?). xinerama enabled quad-head. I was able to get out of it by pressing alt-f7 and clicking. i also confirm that xev wasn't processing any mouse events when moving the mouse around and clicking on the xev window.

AutoAddDevices -> false and setting a udev macintosh emulation ignore .fig file didn't help.
