description |
When the splashscreen shows, the progress bar reaches +/- 10% and completly crashes the system. When you try to boot the system with your Speedtouch 330 USB unplugged it works fine. It happened when booting from a Live CD and after installing the sytem to a hard drive (with an unplugged modem). I think the problem might be connected with modprobe or with modules responsible for usb support. |

ADDED 5.10.2008: After a few minutes of waiting the splashscreen vanishes and the text-mode shows. The System loads HAL and stops at Bluetooth. It`s impossible to avoid it. I think the system treats the speedtouch modem as bluetooth. |
