Comment 6 for bug 289157

This issue is likely to be caused by the same root issue in bug #254668. A potential fix in the boot-time RCU code is just making its way upstream and may well land in a Jaunty kernel soonish. Please review the other bug to confirm the symptoms are similar. If you think so, we'll mark this as a duplicate of that bug.
