Comment 3 for bug 28664

I am able to change the date and time in Ubuntu using the graphical interface but in Kubuntu I have to use the sudo date -s to change the time as the graphical time will not work. For me it is 8 hours behind and is this way each time I start the system up. I am using flight 3 now and will be using flight 4 when it comes out. I have a powerpc and each time no matter what I do it is always 8 hours off.
