Comment 17 for bug 285096

This is still a problem for me after upgrading to Precise. I believe my root partition filled up at some point, and ever since then, even after rebooting, my /tmp directory is 1MB max and has nothing to do with how much space is actually on the partition. None of my applications work now and everything crashes all the time.
