1.0.2 (ie current svn version) now detects and displays the octave number of the note you are playing which was the major missing feature in 1.0.1 hence Linux finally has a fully-functional, easy to use instrument tuner. I can stop using APTuner under wine now and I'm keen to see qpitch make its way into the 'buntu repos.
