hello all - i'm the developer of this application. I've whipped up a .deb package available here: http://tinkerhouse.net/shoebot/packages/deb/

It was my first shot at packaging, so I would definitely be interested in all kinds of feedback and corrections to be able to produce a package suitable for the Ubuntu repositories.
