Bug description:
I tried to install ubuntu 8.04 on winda professional. On the first attempt the
install picked up my winda user name and I used it for installation. I also
went with the 15 GB installation space. That attempt failed -- when I booted to
Ubuntu, an error message appeared saying that I provided an empty password
(which was not true). That message just would not go away regardless of the
number of times I closed the error box.
Then (given my natural stubbornness) I tried to install again. This time I
provided a new user name and the same password and requested 30 GB installation
space. It paid well.
I wish this project all the best. winda, though, gets to live another day.
I don't have any.
