Same here with Heron.
$HOME/.asound.conf reads:

pcm.bluetooth {
  type bluetooth
  device 00:13:17:71:2E:D9
  profile "auto"
}

/proc/asound/cards like op.
aplay output like op.

Worked with gutsy.
