OK, I caught it. And WOW, that was really hard to even notice-- right in the middle of reloading a bunch of tabs (including Acid3, which loads a bit slowly, and Tinderbox, which loads REALLY slow). I heard a quick disk I/O-- less than 1/2 second (I'll SWAG between 0.2 and 0.3 seconds). And it was done! added another 300K, now 20.1 MB.
slightly off-topic: how big is this file gonna get?
I'll proceed to start up a Windows-XP machine, install this morning's nightly, and report results.
