The most CPU is used by:

  /usr/libexec/epiphany-search-provider

so try closing Epiphany.

The second-most CPU is used by:

  /usr/bin/gnome-shell

so try disabling the thing that is keeping gnome-shell redrawing all the time:

  gnome-extensions disable '<email address hidden>'
