Comment 1 for bug 200604

The same problem, i though it was a hardware damage so I take a closer look to my hard, then i reboot Ubuntu and still no sound i am using a genius 5.1 CH, Then i boot up again the pc and i started mandriva and it work fine, then i change the boot to previous Kernel and and sound was restore.
