Thank you for the explanation. I still think it would be much easier to fix
the incorrect URL in the superspec package since that error is causing the
problem with the 18.10 distro. (Assuming anyone is actually interested in
fixing the distro. Currently no one is assigned to fix the URL.) (And why
is Ubuntu using code from a company which sells Lisp development tools in
the distro?)
