problems with drivers

I am having several problems, I lose my mouse pad from time to time, I have also noticed that I am having issues with the screen, but I am not sure if this is a problem or not, sometimes when I travel up to the top using the mouse the problem starts with the way that it displays, hard to explain, distorts sometimes.Have also noticed just recently a problem with the software center installed a new app today and it would not show the installation process, froze with the installation screen showing what was in the information about the program, the app still installed.I feel that the O.S. should be working better than what it is, maybe I am comparing it to Micro soft, I am not fully familiar with this O.S.

We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all reported bugs in a timely manner. You reported this bug some time ago and there have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time.

Ubuntu 16.04 (xenial) reached end-of-standard-support on April 29, 2021.
