Bug Description
Just a minor annoyance, happens in gutsy alpha (27-09-2007).
To reproduce: open two windows, nautilus and gedit. With normal effects,
when clicking a window to bring it to the front the animation used makes it
flicker briefly while appearing. Very unpleasant.
With extra effects that flicker disappears and the window fades in smoothly.
If they are different animations, I prefer the second one.

Forgot to say I'm using the Xorg -ati driver with a Radeon 9600XT AGP card (256MB ram, outputs VGA, DVI and TV-out, just using the VGA one).
As I mentioned above, would be great having in normal effects the same animation used in extra effects for getting a window to the front (though it might be heavier on resources, excuse my ignorance).
