Hi Alex,
Well... it's slightly more than one patch in QEMU, and this also requires some linux kernel side changes. And I really can't^W^Wdon't want to invest more time there if no one helps. This being said, I see more and more activity on 9p since Dominique Martinet has taken maintainership. Maybe worth to resurrect the discussion on <email address hidden> ? If it gets enough momentum there, I'll be happy to go forward with the QEMU changes.
