Note: This bug is not filed against a particular package, because it is not known which package causes the caps like indicator to stop working. It could very well be the installation OS or an installation based kernel module not functioning correctly. Given it is at install time, and there is nothing in the logs to indicate a problem, it would be quite difficult for an ubuntu user to isolate the issue.
