Hi,

Sorry I did a lot of testing hoping to localize, but not successful yet.
The bug does still occurs. Randomly, in (identified programs) Firefox,
Thunderbird, Nautilus, GIMP just random purple strips. They can cross a
page in a window, or a single picture in a window.

I use unity 2D. No compiz.

I attached two sets of screen shots and logs:
