Bug Description

It looks very rare, I can't find anybody else on internet with the same problem .... except jasmines: http://blog.ubuntu-tweak.com/2011/09/18/ubuntu-tweak-0-6-beta-is-ready-for-testers-and-developers.html/comment-page-2#comment-21380
The interface looks like this screenshot: http://mediacdn.disqus.com/uploads/mediaembed/images/181/2902/original.jpg
I did try to change Gnome Shell theme, gtk3 and metacity theme, but nothing changed, so it looks not depending on graphical elements in any 3rd part theme...
Launching the application in a terminal window, this is what I get: http://pastebin.com/hzmcu7Ab
Just can't figure out how to solve it.

Could you try to run "ubuntu-tweak -m Icon" under terminal, to see if there's a page to tweak icons?

Have you tried to set back your desktop themes to original?

Yes, I did! Shell theme is still the original one and I changed the gtk3/metacity one back to Ambiance, just to try it ... nothing.

It is exactly like this for me at the moment :-) I forget my wife also, thinking to my Ubuntu Tweak issue!

Does the "TypeError: expected string or buffer" error happen every time after your restart Ubuntu Tweak?

Could you give me a list of the modules have this error. And I want to know have you made a system update?

The problem is that sometime some plugin works, sometime not.

At this time only "Fonts" works now, all other not. Before, Fonts not
working, but Bluetooth worked.

My system is up to date, but I always has this bug with Oneiric. Ubuntu
tweak never worked for me on 11.10 (bug already in the beta).

Olivier.
