I was able to get a current build downloaded today (thanks, Colin).

The fixes to partman-base have solved the disk size calculation issues, but, we're still unable to boot the OS when the installation finishes.

I noticed that there is no "ubuntu" boot entry in the EFI boot menu on this server, which is part of the problem. I'm also unable to add any boot entries for the OS because the hard disk drive no longer shows up in the EFI boot entry, either.

I'll be glad to submit whichever logs are needed from this latest attempt.
