go to bug415023 there is a really good workaround with a patch. Look at #201, #202 and read also jbobs comment in #203 and Sylvains answer in #205/206 there. Sylvain Defresne did a great job there on bug415023. We are very close to an end there like here! I suggest you wait until the next kernel release from ubuntu (next week) fixes this bug here and than you can take the Sylvain Defresne workaround.

Good hope for a fully working karmic on msi wind u100 before christmas! Yeah.
