Bug Description

Trying to enter results as I perform QA-tests on the jammy daily (22.04.2) that only just received the 5.19 kernel (sil2100 reported on #ubuntu-flavors asking for teams to test)..

On entering the page I'm getting (most of the time)

Proxy Error

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /qatracker/milestones/429/builds/270975/testcases/1303/results.

Reason: Error reading from remote server

Website URL = http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/429/builds/270975/testcases/1303/results

If the site is working correctly; I can enter the tests on the website as machines boot, but currently I'm about 6 entries behind due to website being slow & just given 502 Proxy errors

Also having trouble with site due to very very slow response.
Notice that this only occurring if I try to enter tests results for Lubuntu!

Waited 3 min and finally could enter - no 502 error reported to me.

Possibly of note.

as I've written about before (other tickets), the ISO.QA.UBUNTU.COM site is extremely slow. To deal with this, I've taken to opening multiple tabs, eg. I want to enter the following testcases into the tracker for lubuntu.jammy today

- full disk
- install alongside
- replace partition

If the page was quick, I'd have only a single page open & enter one test, then the next test etc... however on opening "iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/429/builds/271556/testcases/1701/results" just to start the process I'm getting nothing but white screen... thus I've opened three pages for the tests I'm trying to perform

Maybe this (my) method of operation influences the issue (my testbox is a 2005 hp thus is very slow; but it can still install faster than iso.qa.ubu can work)

It has no results yet from me; I've not yet had a chance to enter any...

Mostly of a test of iso.qa.ubuntu.com, I zsync'd the Lubuntu lunar daily.. started a test, noting my responses largely with iso.qa.ubuntu.com

These notes (which won't be clear; quickly done with times the purpose; text intended only to remind me what the time (HHMM) represents..

(times aren't exact; whatever the digital room clock said)

1327 - 1330 page appeared (Lubuntu daily install)
1331 entered test specs & some testcase details & wait... - 1334 & page redrew with my entered details

 http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/441/builds/272612/testcases/1701/results

1343 bug encountered; hit edit on test (to add details) & wait... 1344 and entry screen appears, add bug detail & 'update..
1344 busy (update result) and 1348 back to list of results..
1357 click pen (again) to update report now my testing is complete... and I can add final detail & pass/fail, wait - 1359 and entering results.
1401 & click UPDATE result, that single test completed (PASS)

No proxy errors..

OF NOTE & UNEXPECTED HOWEVER

As is normal, the page ( http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/441/builds/272612/testcases/1701/results ) shows me reports entered by Leó Kolbeinsson which is not unusual (a very big QA-tester), but I have PEN/edit logos on his entries, and can EDIT them... I would not expect that...

Maybe that isn't new though, but I can't recall noticing that before (even offers me a DELETE button on those entries, but I'm sure not testing that).

Could just be my window is larger than usual (it is). I'll finish what I'm doing, logout (of iso.qa) & login again..

Further note:

logout, login & i can still edit results. It maybe my Lubuntu permissions (lubuntu-product-manager & ubuntu-testcases are both ticked) & wider screen only made it easier to see.

alas few lunar results except mine (or Lubuntu related), but I HAVE NO EDIT on http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/441/builds/272564/testcases/1318/results (Ubuntu Core, amd64, so it's likely related to my 'elevated' lubuntu permissions maybe)...

I'll mark this as incomplete myself now.

I'm not doing any testing (mantic ISOs aren't available yet, see little point with jammy.3 yet but will test that soon enough..) but I can't recall having this issue much lately... and http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/reports/testers shows I performed 20 FINAL test on lunar which wasn't that long ago but can't recall issues (except rarely with 502)
