10GB root partition for EBS boot AMIs on EC2
|||Ubuntu on EC2||
Amazon's latest trial offer of a free 10Gb EBS backed EC2 micro instance can't be used with the default canonical instances which use 15Gb root partitions. Is there any need for the extra 5Gb, and if not, would it make sense to decrease its size to enhance uptake within the wider user community?
