I have submitted the fix for SRU and once it makes it through the SRU process we will have a new kernel.

The fix is based on the patch in the test kernel previously posted and specifically addresses the phantom load reported in this bug. It does not address any other issue. If you are still experiencing problems, please open a new bug so we can track it separately from this bug.
