Alf Eaton noted that the same problem happens when installing sun-java6-bin and I have confirmed it:

Setting up libxtst6 (2:1.0.3-1) ...

Setting up sun-java6-bin (6-10-0ubuntu2) ...
Timeout, server not responding.
