Hi again,

After some investigation, I found that the compiz segfault was due to an undefined symbol:

compiz (core) - Debug: dlopen failed: /usr/lib/compiz/libunityshell.so: undefined symbol: XFixesSelectBarrierInput

I downgraded libxfixes3 to 1:5.0-4ubuntu5.13.04.1 and was able to start Unity properly... But now I found out that the x-org-server package on the x-staging PPA was not updated for raring, only saucy :(

Will try to compile myself, but if you could backport it to raring, I would appreciate.
