2016-03-07 17:08:13 wereturtle description Set MATE interface to be Mutiny from the MATE Tweak tool. Now go to the MATE main menu, under System Tools, and open MATE terminal. Now right click on its icon in the Mutiny dock and select "Pin MATE Terminal to the dock" . Close the terminal window. Click on the pinned terminal launcher on the Mutiny dock. It will launch successfully. Now right click on the terminal launcher icon in the Mutiny dock. No option is listed to launch a second instance of the terminal application in the context menu. This same issue occurs with Galculator and Pluma, and may be universal to all other apps that are pinned to the dock. It doesn't seem to occur when the apps are manually added to the dock. For example, go to the MATE main menu, under System Tools, and right click on the MATE terminal app. Select "Add this launcher to panel." Now click on the new terminal icon on the dock. The first window will open successfully. Now right click on the new terminal icon in the panel. The option to Launch a new window is now present in the context menu. Selecting this option will successfully launch a second window. It is only when the application is pinned that the option is not present in the context menu.
