In order to resolve this the `samba` package must be installed and samba must be running. I don't want to ship a running samba setup in what is a workstation OS. Therefore, I've removed `caja-share` from the default package list and this will be reflected in the upcoming alpha 2 release.
Should anyone want to use the `caja-share` extension they can `apt-get install caja-share samba` to get the desired functionality.
