Steps to run this:
# Boot the the kernel you want to test
git clone https://git.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-kernel/ubuntu/+source/linux/+git/focal
# cd focal, and switch to the tag that matches the current kernel
cd focal/tools/testing/selftests
make TARGETS=ftrace
cd ftrace
sudo ./ftracetest -v test.d/ftrace/func_traceonoff_triggers.tc
