Bug Description

In the 0.80 version, the Ubuntu Mono members were patched to have the version debug symbol at U+F000 patched to read '0.8'

  for glyphname, offset, runt in zip(('zerosuperior', 'period', 'eightsuperior'), xrange(-150, 1000, 150), e.getElementsByTagName('contour')):

This was done somewhat hackishly using ttx to XML and back again. Ideally this could be changed using a macro in FontLab (as for the proportional members) in future versions. The code that was used is:

  patch-ttx-version-to-0.8.py::main()

To did have code to do this acting on the .ttf stage. Marc should now have a solution for doing at the Fontlab export stage.
