Bug Description
When typing ÄÖÜ at certain sizes, the umlaut marks on the A are lower than on O and U (making the Ä appear smaller).

Hearndo: please can you take the screenshot again also showing the magica characters '' and '' on the same line.
This will give us the state of the hinting engine (it's likely an autohinter issue) and the version of the beta in question.
It is however more likely to be an issue with Freetype's autohinter (since the manual hints are still being worked upon).
